Intervales State Park is located about 280 km SW of Sao Paulo and 25 km from the nearest city Ribeirão Grande. It is reached by driving from Sao Paulo on the Rodovia Castello Branco. After exiting at Tatui, follow the road through Itapetininga and Capao Bonito. From there take the road to Ribeirao Grande. After getting the town of Ribeirao Grande take a unpaved road (about 25 km), this road ends at the Intervales State Park. The drive takes about 4½ hours from Sao Paulo.
